Applied Driving Techniques (ADT), the global provider of driver and fleet safety management, has teamed up with CEPA Mobility (CEPA) to deliver technology-backed fleet risk management and training solutions. Under the agreement, ADT will work closely with CEPA to target fleets with the Applied Companion AI-powered driver and behavioural safety app, while CEPA will also act as an international partner for in-vehicle and local classroom training.
“Applied Companion is a proven way of correcting driver behaviour issues with targeted safety messages, performance reports and Triggered Training®, so there is a huge opportunity to promote the solution worldwide,” explains Richard Shaw, Global Sales Director at Applied Driving Techniques (Global Solutions) Ltd. “Our partnership with CEPA will enable us extend the reach of the app, while tapping into their established training expertise to support our international customers.”
CEPA has been in operation for over 30 years, specialising in motor vehicle crash control and risk management programs, with bespoke training programs developed for corporate fleets. With offices in Latin America and mainland Europe backed-up by operations worldwide, the company has true international scope and is the global expert in enterprise road safety.
Fernando Cammarota, CEO of CEPA Mobility Care comments: “This partnership brings together two likeminded road safety businesses, both committed to saving lives by developing driver awareness to be more attentive and avoid risks behind the wheel. Applied Companion brings a game-changing opportunity to our clients that is unlike any other fleet tool available, so it will help our clients to increase safety knowledge, improve driving skills and reduce avoidable road collisions.”
Applied Companion, developed in partnership with Sfara, is the most comprehensive, app-based driver monitoring and engagement tool currently available in the marketplace. It detects and logs at-risk driving events, working seamlessly with ADT’s Riskmapp online platform to address driver behaviour issues with targeted safety messages, performance reports and Triggered Training®. Applied Companion and Triggered Training® are both currently available in 14 languages.
