Goodyear and its TruckForce network has marked a successful three year relationship with leading logistics business Culina Logistics by announcing that it has retained the business. The three year relationship has seen Culina Logistics lorries sport the TruckForce imagery as part of their livery, and the 800+ strong fleet managed by TruckForce has fitted Goodyear’s new RHT II regional haul, multi-application tyre.
Now, at the start of a new contract and with an even stronger relationship Goodyear will see not only its RHT II tyre fitted but also its LHT II and its industry leading NextTread tyres. All these fitments will continue to be supported by Goodyear Dunlop’s premium quality truck tyre and breakdown assistance provider, TruckForce.
Having worked with Culina Logistics for a number of years, Goodyear and its truck tyre service and breakdown network, TruckForce, has grown the relationship as the logistics giant has expanded through acquisition.
Speaking of the relationship with Culina Logistics, Kevin Jukes, National Truck Account Manager for Goodyear Dunlop UK, commented: “A large part of the success of our relationship with Culina Logistics is due to the time and effort we put in to developing a personalised service to meet their needs. When coupled with the full service we’re able to offer through our product range and TruckForce service, not to mention our competitive pricing model, this has enabled us to build a long-lasting relationship with a valued customer.”
The RHT II is Goodyear’s latest generation regional haul tyre and is now being fitted to all of Culina Logistics’s fleet, managed by TruckForce, alongside the retreaded TreadMax RHT II. The tyres are built to cope with the demanding requirements of regional haul transport, featuring Kmax technology they provide excellent mileage performance without compromising any other areas of the tyres characteristics. This suits Culina Logistics’ fleet as in addition to the mileage performance of the tyres, they provide exceptional fuel saving benefits for a business whose vehicles each cover over 4,000 miles a week.
Thomas Vanmourik, Managing Director at Culina Logistics, commented: “Goodyear and its TruckForce network have demonstrated to us an exemplary service record and a personal touch that meets our exact needs. We were very happy to renew the relationship and look forward to working together in the years ahead.”
