Impressive fuel returns and reliability has seen Welch’s Transport take delivery of a further two new Renault Premium tractor units. The new Premiums will service a recently extended contract for a major global customer, Ardex, as Welch’s Transport confirms that the Renault Premium is its ‘truck of choice’ moving forward. The two Renault Premium Route 460 6×2 trucks with Privilege cabs, were supplied through WTL Truck and Van Centre and join a 70-strong mixed fleet of Renault, MAN and DAF.
Servicing Welch’s Transport’s recently extended three-year contract with specialist tiling and building materials supplier, Ardex UK Ltd., the trucks have been prepared in Ardex livery and will pull new liveried trailers.

The Premiums are low maintenance, reliable trucks and, with average fuel returns in excess of 9mpg, they are also the most fuel efficient trucks on our fleet.”
