Marc Preedy, Commercial Director for Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK has just completed a 335km bike ride for the international development charity, Transaid. The cycle ride, which saw Marc conquer the roads of both the UK and Holland in just three days, has seen him raise an impressive £4000 for the charity.
The journey started at Romford for the first of the three hard days of cycling, the destination was Harwich ferry crossing some 65 miles away. To get there Marc and the group passed through the oldest recorded town in Britain, Colchester, before cycling up along the coast to reach the port of Harwich. After a short rest, the cyclists were faced with a further 72 miles on day two.
The day would see Marc enjoy (to some degree) the flat landscape of the Netherlands passing through southern suburbs of Breda and Mastbos Forest before reaching the final destination of the day, Tilburg. The final day would prove the longest day of cycling, with 75 miles to cover to get to the finish line and into Amsterdam.
The money raised by Marc for completing the cycle ride will now be donated to Transaid. Transaid is an international development charity that seeks a world where transport contributes fully to a better quality of life and is accessible to all, in Africa and across the developing world. The funds that Marc has raised from the bike ride will now go towards helping Transaid continue their hugely important work and expand projects further across several African countries.
After the challenge Marc said: “This has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. You don’t realise how tough these things are until you go through them, there was a brilliant sense of team spirit between the group which helped everyone get over the line. I am delighted to have raised so much for a great cause, £4000 is a tremendous amount of money that Transaid can do a lot with. I would like to say thank you to everyone back at Goodyear Dunlop for their support and to everyone who has donated.”
Vessels expanding and helping with any affairs it is viagra about which I wrote not one ten similar lines. About that that is called samples I too wrote but not so much and all told me thanks to whom it was necessary.
