BRS Ltd., one of the UK’s leading suppliers of commercial vehicle contract hire solutions, has supplied 25 new Renault Premiums to B&Q for its trade operation, TradePoint. Specifically built for the operation, the new Renault Premium 380.26 6×2 chassis cabs have been fitted with triple dropside bodies, by Transport Enterprises and a Hiab XS122 B2 lorry loader crane. The Renault Premiums were chosen by TradePoint because of the ‘best all round package’ they provide, in a tender prepared by BRS against competitor marques, including MAN and Mercedes.
BRS is already a long term partner of B&Q for home delivery services and the new trucks will extend its range of services to include heavyside building materials. The Renault Premiums are part of a full service contract with BRS which includes the vehicles, drivers and management. They will operate from TradePoint hubs across the UK, providing a delivery service to tradesmen onsite.
