The Fork Lift Truck Association has unveiled details of its National Fork Truck Safety Conference which will be held at Loughborough University on 23 September 2015.
Entitled: 360 degrees safety – a holistic approach to fork truck operations, it is aimed at managers and supervisors at every site that operates fork lift trucks.
Building on the remarkable success of the 2014 Conference, this year’s event will, once again, focus on practical presentations sharing best practice in a bid to reduce the stubbornly high levels of injuries, damage and death in premises of every size and in every sector.
Speakers will highlight the need for constant vigilance and the importance of creating an environment where poor practice is simply not acceptable. The aim is to make everyone feel involved in a safety culture and responsible for policing it.
Announcing the date, FLTA Chief Executive Peter Harvey said: “This is a genuine peer-to-peer event designed to inform, inspire and motivate managers and supervisors in companies of every size and in every sector”
