Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has won the annual award for ‘Rental and Contract Hire Company of the Year’ for a second consecutive year at this year’s Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution (TCS&D) Awards.
The TCS&D Awards is an annual event that has been created to recognise companies and individuals who have really made a difference in the temperature controlled storage and distribution industry. It is a major event for this important specialist vehicle sector, attracting a 350-strong crowd to the Peterborough Arena, keen to know the results.
The award winners in each category are chosen by a specially selected independent organising committee. In handing the 2015 Award to Enterprise Flex-E-Rent sales director Mark Howell, Carl Jones, the awards compere, commented that the company had received a high number and variety of customer nominations for the award. These cited a flexible approach and high service levels as being typical of the Enterprise Flex-E-Rent business.
Danny Glynn, managing director, Enterprise Flex-E-Rent said: “We launched our new temperature controlled business at the TCS&D exhibition in 2013. It was a great honour to be the inaugural winner of this particular award in 2014 within only 12 months of trading. It is almost unbelievable to come back to the same exhibition two years later and to win the same award for a second consecutive year. What makes this award doubly significant is that all the nominations have come from our customers. Our aim is to be the best temperature controlled vehicle provider in the UK, and this award is important to us because it is an endorsement of our customers’ satisfaction with our service.”
Showing its support for the industry, Enterprise Flex-E-Rent was also the sponsor for the 2015 TCS&D ‘Temperature Controlled Operator of the Year’ Award for the first time. This was won by McCulla Transport from Lisburn in Northern Ireland, who received their accolade from Enterprise Flex-E-Rent’s sales director Mark Howell.
“The TCS&D Awards are quite unique as they are the only event that celebrates the contribution of individuals and businesses who operate in the specialised world of temperature controlled transport and distribution. This is a demanding sector and it is our great pleasure to support the development of the Awards programme this year. As sponsor, we congratulate McCulla Transport on their success in winning Best Temperature Controlled Operator of the Year,” commented Danny Glynn.
The Temperature Controlled Division of Enterprise Flex-E-Rent celebrated its second anniversary during the TCS&D Show and Awards this month. The Shrewsbury-based organisation has now developed a significant commercial vehicle fleet during the two year period, covering single and multi-temperature vehicles that range from car derived vans right up to 18 and 26 tonne dual compartment rigids.
Operating through a 21-strong branch network in England, Scotland and Wales, Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is now a major force in the supply of temperature controlled vehicles in the UK. Today, many blue-chip companies and household names operate vehicles from Enterprise Flex-E-Rent, and the company is recognised for providing top-quality vehicles with high specification levels, all of which are supported by a proven 24/7/365 industry leading nationwide aftersales support.
