A.I.M. Commercial Services Ltd, the CV and PSV industry support experts say they have significantly raised the compliance standards for their customers throughout the UK, since switching to the TruTac range of tachograph analysis and fleet management software.
Currently supplying over 1,000 operators with services including specialist vehicle and driver training, compliance auditing and tachograph analysis, A.I.M says the TruTac platform offers more options, greater transparency and improved functionality compared to the product they had been using until January of this year.
“Since then,” says Managing Director Allison Kemp, “over 300 of our ‘live’ tachograph customers have moved across to TruTac and over 90% of those who have seen the system are instantly convinced!”
Allison, who is the third generation of her family to work in the industry and has over 30 years professional experience, goes on to say that the TruTac solution is not only more comprehensive in the checks and controls provided via each software module, but also seamlessly integrates, making system usability far easier.
“A.I.M. Commercial Services Ltd is a business focused on keeping vehicle operators compliant through our industry knowledge and the bespoke services and products we supply.” Continues Allison, “Accordingly, we moved to TruTac because their leading industry know-how and interactive approach to compliance control perfectly complements our way of doing things.”
Particular reference is made to the TruTac modules which help to monitor and improve driver performance. A combination of TruChecks and TruLicence, says Allison, enable drivers to quickly and easily check and report on the condition of their vehicles before each journey and thereafter to focus on their daily driving history and to review reasons for infringements as they occur.
“Roadside checks are a part of everyday life” adds Allison, “but with a full and clear reporting system, instantly accessible and retrievable from any portal, our customers can easily satisfy DVSA compliance regulations on the one hand, while encouraging drivers to sharpen-up, on the other.”
With 14 personnel in the team, A.I.M. Commercial Services Ltd comprises three key divisions: On-site training, including DGSA/ADR, Transport and Driver CPC, TFL/FORS approved SUD and OLAT courses, and also NOCN Cash in Transit courses; Audit and Transport Compliance; Tachograph Analysis Services. In addition, the Ripley-based company supports operators of various profiles, including vans, HGVs, mini-buses, coaches and buses, to achieve FORS accreditation.
Allison Kemp was crowned Woman of the Year at the 2019 everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards and in 2018 she became the first woman ever to become the deputy chair of the Freight Transport Association National Council.
