Applied Driving, the leading provider of driver safety and performance management solutions, has expanded its partnerships team to take advantage of channel opportunities within the fleet marketplace. Jacob Lewis-Leeson has joined the company as Partnerships Executive to support new and existing partners, which form an important part of its growth strategy moving forward.

Our channel network has delivered significant growth in the past few years – especially within the vehicle leasing and telematics sectors – and now represents a significant portion of our annual turnover,” explains Nigel Lawrence, Strategic Partnerships Director at Applied Driving. This has created the need for greater internal resource, so we are delighted that Jacob has joined us. He will be a fantastic addition to the team, and we look forward to him making a strong contribution to our channel partner ambitions.”

In his new position, Lewis-Leeson will be tasked with supporting and managing partner relationships, providing useful guidance across Applied Driving’s comprehensive range of risk, safety and compliance services, and helping to maximise end-user performance. He will also work closely with the operations, IT and business development teams to help better understand partner requirements, as well as generate new sales opportunities.

Lewis-Leeson brings more than seven years of support and customer service experience to the role, which has enabled him to develop his relationship management, client care and technical services skills. Most recently, he was Digital Operations & Customer Success Coordinator at Sotheby’s, where he was part of the company’s global digital team and worked cross-functionally to support client needs. Prior to this, he was Technical Quality Assurance Specialist at MyTutor and Visitor Services Supervisor at The British Museum.

Our channel model is an important part of our growth strategy, so it is crucial that we have the right people in place to develop the business both in the UK and internationally. We are expecting to further increase our partner footprint this year and Jacob’s appointment will ensure we are able to deliver on our service promise and build on our success,” adds Nigel Lawrence.
