The Parma Group is currently offering a pair of commercial grade snow socks for HGV, bus and truck applications on its website, www.parmagroup.co.uk.
The snow socks are designed to be fitted to drive wheels to cover tyre in the event of traction loss in snowy and icy weather. Simply stretch the elasticated tyre cover over the wheel from the top downwards.
The snow socks are supplied in handy zip up vinyl carry bags for tidy and damp proof storage and
suitable for following tyre sizes;
- 295/80R 22.5
- 315/75R 22.5
- 315/80R 22.5
With a maximum driving speed 40km/h, the socks should only be used on snow and ice covered roads. They are not suitable for normal winter driving and recommended only for short distances where additional traction is necessary.
