The 2016 CV Show is set to be a busy time for the Continental Tyres team. The focus this year will be on helping operators review their current tyre selection and running costs. This comes as part of Continental’s ongoing commitment to provide operators with the lowest overall driving costs by providing not just tyres but more effective operational solutions.
On the stand, visitors will be able to view a selection of the latest third generation Continental tyres, including the complete range of Hybrid and EcoPlus products. The generation 3 roll out has seen over 80 new tyres introduced, the largest ever product launch in Continental commercial tyre division history.
Also on display will be the latest technological advances in ContiPressureCheck (TPMS), including the newly developed integration to telematics systems. ContiPressureCheck has already proven to have multiple benefits for fleets, including reduced fuel costs, lower environmental impact and higher safety levels as well as helping to lower the likelihood of costly breakdowns due to punctures.
A fundamental part of the Continental offer is the highly developed, national service programme offered by Conti360° Fleet Services. There are now 120 Conti360° Fleet Service network partners in the UK & Ireland with 388 service points utilising 850 mobile service vehicles. The network offers customers full peace of mind with excellent national breakdown coverage and rapid response times averaging less than an hour. The Conti360° network also offers flexible packages which include tyre management advice and support such as: ContiFitmentService; ContiFleetCheck; ContiBreakdownService; ContiCasingManagement and ContiFleetReporting.
Visitors to the Continental stand will also have the opportunity to find out more about the launch of new generation products for the Semperit and Barum brands.
The new generation Semperit tyres offer even greater versatility than previous versions, covering different applications such as motorway, regional and on/off road requirements. The tyre range focuses on mileage performance without compromising durability. With Steer and Drive tyres in size 315/80 22.5 already available, the remaining sizes and trailer tyres will be available later in 2016.
New generation Barum tyres will also be on display, appealing to fleets looking for a versatile tyre at an affordable price. Both the Barum and Semperit tyre ranges will be undergoing new naming programmes for 2016.
Speaking of the show, Arthur Gregg, Commercial Sales & Marketing Director at Continental Tyres said: “The CV Show is always a great opportunity to talk about our products and services to a wide and knowledgeable audience. With growth still difficult for many operators in challenging market conditions, our strategy is to provide fleets with solutions that drive efficiency and lower costs. Our knowledge and expertise within the sector is outstanding and something we believe to be of great business benefit to our customers.”
