This year’s CV Show will provide Coolertech Ltd with the opportunity to showcase a selection of its innovative and highly engineered vehicle solutions. The company, which designs and builds high quality insulated vehicles ranging from small car-derived vans, through to 26 tonne rigids, will display three specialised vehicles in the form of two insulated box bodies and one insulated panel van conversion.
Coolertech Ltd is pleased to share with visitors its recently-launched AiroSprint range on a 3.5 tonne box body design. This new innovation has been designed specifically for the Mercedes Sprinter chassis cab and features a narrower, more streamlined body which follows the lines and width of the vehicle’s cab. A lightweight body styling kit has also been designed to complement the shape, colour and form of the cab’s bumper section and door detail trim. With special, formed wheel-arches and no significant weight increase to the vehicle, this kit enhances the overall good looks of the vehicle. This driver-friendly vehicle is perfect for home shopping operations and will help minimise the risk of accident damage through tighter, more restricted routes with little margin for error.
A FUSO Canter 7C15 Eco Hybrid is the second vehicle in Coolertech’s impressive line-up. The 7.5 tonne truck features a lightweight, single compartment insulated box body which has been designed to carry chilled goods. The body features myriad design elements intended to gain maximum payload, such as the rear frame and step assembly, and the refrigeration unit.
Coolertech’s van conversion capabilities are represented by a Mercedes Sprinter Euro VI insulated panel van. The dual compartment, multi-temperature conversion features Coolertech’s low-temperature side door which is hinged on the right and when opened fully, sits flat against the side of the panel van. This wrap-around design allows the operator clear and safe access to the load compartment and permits the loading of metric pallets.
The vehicles have been European type approved and were designed and manufactured at Coolertech’s UK technology and production facilities. In addition, they come with a ten-year construction warranty – something the company offers as standard across its entire range of new insulated products.
The vehicles were supplied by local Mercedes-Benz dealer, Rossetts Commercials.
Not limited purely to manufacture, Coolertech also provides an on-site bodywork repair service that operates nationally, and an efficient spare parts supply service.
