Saving over £170,000 a year in fuel costs may be a dream for some long haul truck fleets, but this is what a typical 50-truck operator could expect to achieve thanks to Goodyear Marathon tyres.

A typical five-axle 40 tonne articulated truck on long haul operations, would save £3,763 a year if covering 100,000 kilometres with a fuel consumption of 32.26 l/100km and a fuel cost of £1.30 per litre2. This relates to 2,896 litres of fuel saved and a reduction in harmful CO2 emissions of 7,616 kilograms.
