Isotrak has announced a new strategic partnership with TranSend to offer a fully integrated PDA-based ePOD and customer service solution suitable for all sizes of companies. The partnership enables Isotrak to provide a complete web-based mobile delivery management system that interfaces seamlessly with its own GPS vehicle tracking and telematics solution.
The Isotrak-TranSend integrated product offers scalability for deployment across any type of service or delivery fleet and it should be of particular interest to mid-market sized companies that want to improve customer service with a single, integrated view of the delivery operation.
“This is an exciting development that brings together two very strong companies into a technology partnership that will provide real value to our existing customers and for new clients. The TranSend ePOD and customer service system complements Isotrak perfectly and it will provide important productivity and efficiency gains while improving customer service. The system is well proven, has an enviable reputation among existing TranSend users and we are very pleased to be able to integrate it with Isotrak to provide a cost-effective solution,” says Alan Gunner, Sales & Marketing Director, Isotrak.
David Cook, TranSend Managing Director adds: “We are very pleased that Isotrak has chosen to partner with TranSend to provide an integrated mobile delivery management system. Clients will gain a real competitive advantage from single-point visibility and performance monitoring of the whole delivery and tracking operation, in real time.”
TranSend ePOD is a PDA based proof of delivery and integrated back office management system that is designed to help companies meet their goals for on time, in full deliveries, collections and stock reallocation. It provides multi-dimensional delivery management information and analysis and control – reducing operational costs, improving customer service and cash flow with full visibility of the delivery and collection process. With ePOD, customer service staff and their clients can access real-time information before, during and after delivery. This provides accurate ETAs, the opportunity to investigate any issues at the point of delivery and debrief drivers following the delivery.
Isotrak telematics gives commercial vehicle fleet managers the benefit of more accessible management information, simpler and clearer data and entity-based navigation. The hosted managed service is available for worldwide deployment and allows users to manage their transport operation using a user-friendly web-browser based system that interprets satellite GPS tracking and vehicle telematics data giving them real-time visibility and measurement of whole-fleet (and individual-vehicle) performance. The benefits of the system are measurable in operational savings, customer service improvements and a reduction in carbon emissions.
