With home delivery and urban transport being the theme of its stand at this year’s CV Show, Hull based refrigerated bodybuilder Paneltex will take the industry by surprise when it unveils its first ever refrigerated body on the new style third generation Mercedes Sprinter chassis cab that will be officially launched here in the UK later this year.
In the Cool 2018 section of the exhibition Paneltex aims to take the show by surprise with this advanced showing of a pre-production 2018 Mercedes Sprinter, the first to feature a refrigerated body designed specifically for the UK market.
The Mercedes Sprinter on the Paneltex stand, featuring a camouflage wrap on the chassis cab, demonstrates the capability of Paneltex as a manufacturer of high quality refrigerated bodies for LCV’s and trucks operating in the tough world of the UK home delivery market.
The Paneltex side loading refrigerated home delivery body has a very low access height that eliminates the need for a side step. This Paneltex triple compartment body covers ambient, chilled and frozen goods in a single body and features a lightweight Paneltex GRP-moulded door frame. The vehicle also has the Paneltex GRP-moulded air deflector for improved refrigeration performance and aerodynamics.
Further information about the full range of Paneltex refrigerated bodies for trailers, rigids and LCV’s can be viewed on the company’s website at www.paneltex.co.uk
