Walking Floor Trailer Specialists BMI Trailers from Northern Ireland, are set to visit major French Waste Hauliers over the next few months with a purpose built show trailer to highlight some of the many innovative and revolutionary concepts currently available for transporting waste safely, efficiently and economically.
Fitted to the Euro Show Trailer are market leading axles from SAF. Jason Jordan, OEM Account Manager at IMS, the exclusive distributors of SAF Axle Systems in the UK and Ireland explained. “We are delighted to contribute to this project and to have the opportunity to display one of our many outstanding light-weight axle and air suspension systems. The BMI tri-axle trailer is fitted with our 9 tonne SAF Intra Custom Design system with one-piece 22.5” disc brakes, ideal for waste hauliers looking for trailers to deliver greater efficiency, cost savings, reduced maintenance and optimized to meet specific transport requirements in difficult terrain”.

Also fitted to the Euro Show Trailer are ALEX RIMS forged aluminium wheel again from IMS Limited. The wheels are half the weight of steel wheels, release heat faster to save tyre and brake life, and are proven to reduce fuel costs by more than 3 to 5%.
The new Walking Floor Trailer is being launched at Solutrans in Lyon during November 2013 (stand 3G 170), followed by a tour of major French Waste Hauliers during early 2014.
