St. Neots-based logistics experts H&M Distribution has launched a new, purpose built depot, which will create jobs and provide greater distribution support to local businesses.
The Palletways network member has moved into a three acre site, which houses a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq ft warehouse with an additional 20,000 sq ft available for future expansion. The new depot will enable H&M Distribution to continue its business growth and will offer an enhanced service to businesses in North Hertfordshire and South Bedfordshire.
John Hunt, Managing Director of H&M Distribution said: “The new development will enable us to support our existing customers in a more efficient way, allowing for later collections for next day deliveries across the UK and Europe”.
“We have seen a real increase in demand for logistics support in the region as the economy looks to take an upward turn, and our increased capacity and more efficient service will help local businesses to continue this growth”.
H&M Distribution formed in January 2007 in North West England and has expanded their services to additional depots in the South East and South West of the UK.
H&M Distribution is one of over 100 members in the Palletways UK network – Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network. The company’s distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other’s resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
