Read More »Maritime Transport Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to the Scania brand with orders for a total of 330 tractor units for delivery during 2019/20. Two-hundred-and-sixty trucks are now scheduled for delivery before the year end, with a further 70 due to enter service with the Felixstowe-based operator in 2020. The orders will be fulfilled by TruckEast, Scania’s dealer for East Anglia, and comprise of 30 410-horsepower R 410 4×2 models and 300 450-horsepower R 450 6×2/2 mid-lift units. All 330 trucks will be equipped with Highline cabs and Scania’s fully-automated Opticruise gear-selection system.
